8th Grade Dance

Our 8th grade dance is scheduled for Friday, May 30th from 6:00 - 8:30PM at Strayer. In preparation for the special event, please review the following if you have a child attending:

Tickets will be purchased at the door on May 30th, and the cost is $5.00 per student.
The dance is open only to 8th grade Strayer students.
Students do not need to bring a date and can come with friends.
The attire is semi-formal and we have clothing in our guidance office for students who would like to borrow. We ask that clothing is school appropriate. Dresses with straps are fine for this event. If a student has a strapless dress, we ask that there is a little sweater, shawl, or wrap worn with it.
Students are expected to arrive no later than 6:15pm as doors will lock. For safety, they may not leave early unless there is a special circumstance arranged with an administrator prior to the event.
Early dismissals to prep for the event (e.g. hair, nails, etc.) will NOT be excused.
Students may NOT attend the dance until all Chromebook (technology) invoices are paid.
Please know that limos are definitely not necessary.
