The Quakertown Police Department and Quakertown Community School District hosted a Back to School Safety Training on Monday, August 19 at the Quakertown Community High School.
Representative Craig Staats opened the forum discussing upcoming state funding for school district safety initiatives. The panel also featured the following local representatives:

Brook Renninger, QCSD Transportation Supervisor
Ashley Towhey, Bucks County District Attorney's Office
Dr. Jon Kremser, Forensic Security & Protection
Janice Sodeman, St. Luke's Hospital
The event was attended by over 40 administrators, School Resource Officers (SROs), and law enforcement personnel from schools and police departments throughout Bucks County as well as several QCSD Board members. The training was a collaborative effort to strengthen safety and security across our school communities.
