"Mrs. Germani is truly sunshine in human form. We are so grateful that our daughter had her for her first year in school. She makes learning fun and engaging and makes every child feel special. My daughter is excited every single day to go to school, and Mrs. Germani plays a huge role in that. She is the most whimsical, kind, compassionate, and hardworking teacher, and we are forever blessed that our daughter had the pleasure of being her student! All of QE’s teachers and staff go above and beyond. My daughter feels the love from all the staff she encounters in the building every day."

“Mrs. Rivera is awesome! She cares about her students, is kind, and makes learning fun. She goes above and beyond to ensure that every student feels special and loved in her classroom. I love her and am thankful to have gotten her as my teacher this year! She helped me get through surgery this year with all her kind words and encouragement while I was in the hospital, and I will never forget that.”

"Mrs. Weiss is an outstanding teacher who our son was lucky enough to have for 2 years. She truly cares about her students, and they love her right back, as evidenced by our son still seeking her out and giving her hugs, although she isn’t his teacher anymore. We consider ourselves lucky to know Mrs. Weiss and consider her a friend. ”

“We were so lucky our daughter got Ms. Reilly this year. She runs a tight ship while also being so kind and compassionate to her students. Our daughter struggles socially and with staying on task in the classroom. Ms. Reilly always pulls her aside to talk her through situations, which is the best way for our daughter to truly learn how to handle them in the future. When you know your child struggles and will need a lot of redirection, it’s hard not to wonder if anyone can see all the good things about your child. Ms. Reilly “sees” our daughter: her strengths, her struggles, when she’s overwhelmed, what works for her and what doesn’t, her sense of humor, when she’s off, or something might be wrong, how to keep her engaged, and what makes her tick. Ms. Reilly has been amazing with our daughter, and we are so thankful for her.”

At "Meet the Instruments Night" your child will get to try out their top 3 instrument choices before you enroll in the program and get an instrument for them. Parents will also learn more about the QCSD band and orchestra program, get to meet the teachers, learn about instrument rentals, and ask any questions.
You must pre-register for this event, so we will know our anticipated attendance and can provide the correct amount of supplies (mouthpieces, reeds, etc.).
Please click the link below to register:

*Registering for “Meet The Instruments Night” does not enroll your child in the program. It simply allows the students an opportunity to try out the instruments before you rent, purchase, or borrow an instrument.
If you have questions, please contact your school’s music teacher. Visit qcsd.org/music and click the CONTACT page to find their contact information.
There’s an instrument for everyone, we just need to find the right fit for your child!

The goal? To raise awareness of the importance of music education and highlight that QCSD students have access to valuable music programs.
Last week’s “Wear It Wednesday” at the Sixth Grade Center featured Rock & Roll vs. Country! This Wednesday (3/18), students and staff are encouraged to wear tie-dye as we celebrate music across all cultures and generations.
Happy Music in Our Schools Month SGC!

The goal was 100 boxes…
Our Pfaff community exceeded expectations! Thank you for your generosity and support of others—what an incredible sight in the lobby.
Every student and family should feel extremely Pfaff Proud!

The evening included both groups displaying their talents, as well as showcasing guest performances from John Riley on the drums, Randy Kapralick on trombone and Larry Tamanini on guitar.
Thank you for a fabulous evening of jazz and art!
For a calendar of our upcoming performing arts events, please visit:

There is no school on Friday, March 13th, for QCSD students for a Professional Development Day for staff.
Have a great weekend, Panthers!
